Hi-Life Hustle vs Terrorist Threats
« on: November 25, 2003, 07:46:42 AM »
I downloaded Terrorist Threats day before yesterday and Hi-Life Hustle today. And I have'nt listened to 1 track from TT since then. I was completely blown away by HLH. Amazing beats and tight lyrics. Didn't expect this from Hi-C at all. If promoted well, this could probably do well commercially too.

My vote goes to HI-LIFE HUSTLE, but don't get me wrong I love TT.

peace

Haha. I find it amusing that everyone piccing Hi-C's album have either him, Quik, or Suga Free in they sig/avatar. Anyways, I haven't heard any of these albums yet, but am looking forward to both of 'em. I doubt Hi Life Hustla will be as good as Terrorist Threat though.

Terrorist Threats, by far.

Hi-C sounds like one of them dudes DJ Clue or Kay Slay puts on the last 5 tracks on their mixtapes in exchange for $5000.
Don't like his voice, flow or lyrics..  :(

ROFL... I don't agree, but that comparison is funny as fuck.

That's just being coherent. If we got Quik, Suga Free or Hi-C in our sig/avatar is cause we like that kinda music, Quik production style and shit... so unless Hi-C album was a total disappointment (which it aint) it was obvious we were gonna like it. Anyways, that doesnt mean that I cant like WSC better, I'll just have to hear it.

Hi-C was real dope back in the day, but now he's a little tired. I ain't heard his album, but Terrorist Threats ain't that hot. Maybe I expected too much, since everyone was saying it was better than or close to Bow Down, which it ain't.
