So Many Rappers In Love
« on: December 11, 2003, 07:08:03 PM »
I was watching Direct Effect tonight on MTV and during the little hip hop news break, Sway mentioned how the WSC dropped this past Tuesday and said that their next single will be "So Many Rappers In Love" :D

Good choice.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

"if you got nate dogg on a track, it must be a single"

kinda ironic.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

This is the perfect chance to make this album a multi platinum success. If they do a funny video and this song is put in heavy rotation, people gonna love not only the song, but the whole idea of a lotta rappers in love, just telling the truth, people gon feel that. If handled right, this might be the ultimate single to promote Terrorist Threats.
