A guy named Big Leroy Jones has just posted the following at the IV Life Records forum. I thought I'd post it here too 'cause it may interest some of you. You can believe from it what you want, because I'm not sure at all if this is reliable info or not.

I just came back last week from speaking with Death Rows once anticipated Crooked I. Im down with the 40's out here, they hoodstaz and part of the nhood alliance, Crooked I doesnt bang but hes been rolling with the 30's n they are allied with the nh 46c nh55c nh67c nh60's nh90's nh100's nh111 rac120's and all hoodstaz in compton and long beach and should be down with most of east coast. He told me he's ready to walk away from Death Row in the new year, that is ralk talk. His time there has expired and we chopped game about who he may roll with, it looks like hes going solo with his own label and group with Darren vegas(former Deathrow producer) and possibly Jim Getrolium aka The Triple 7 team.
 
You may not see Crooked I on anymore Deathrow affiliated releases or soundtracks that is inside shiit ,and it may end up with a big fued or calm down.
 
He told me Kurupt is the next with a release off Deathrow and he may not fuck with that one either, hes out with parkside 40's who are in front of exposition park ,their hood is big i woud put figueroa as their east, luther kings as their north ,leimert blvd as their west ,vernon as their south ,exept from st andrew to 8th av their avenue set goe down to 48 st just north of van ness 50's. so you know when suge is out hes going to allow the brother to bounce because lueders wont cross that.... I would not go as far as saying he has beef, but he is not rolling with Deathrow as of right now quouted X-Mas 03.......  
 
Now I know the Mafia IV Life crew are bubblin up underground but I want him to come here fuck with Main Street niggas and really push the westcoast not only for himself but for Cali

^rumors have been circulating for months that he's been unhappy with his current situation and how can u blame him??? Death Row fucked up. I think Crooked I was there last hope. Crooked I was the biggest talent they sighned since Pac and he was so ready to blow. If Kurupt doesn't drop or drops a weak solo Death Row is finished.

I hope this is reliable news but I dont ever trust these internet hood rats and wannabee crips, theres just to many of them now. They are probely some 34 yr old hick actin the G Lifestyle.

I hope he does leave. I dont think he has the quality that Death Row is know for. Hes a good lyrical mc though.

Sure this guy knows about where gangs run, but that has shit to do with Crooked I. I don't know. I could've wrote that, it's the general speculation that's been going on for months. All he did was throw in gang references to make it seem legit.

Hmmm...as far as the news, I pray it's true. But all that gang shit ain't sayin nothin. Most of it is true, but it doesn't have much to do with him leavin tha row. Also, some of the gangs he mentioned as bein "allies" don't really get along.
