i posted a while back that my friend alex (bubba louie) from the group got booted out..

but another mate of mine know bumped into 'el eye' (aka ian, the only guy i know now left in the group) over the weekend and he says that they have a new album, coming out this week...



their old site http://www.aspecticons.co.uk/ has been taken down

guess they're still on hombre > http://www.hombre.co.uk/   but the site doesnt have anything about a new album...


i cant find shit about a new album online... even  at my fave UK hiphop store http://www.suspect-packages.com or http://www.ukhh.com/


can anyone else?

a recent interview with ukhh.com (linked above), the comical collective known as
Aspects revealed they've parted from the label Hombre, plan for their follow up
to their debut album 'Correct English' to be the stepping stone towards being
full time hiphop artists rather than having to hold down part time jobs, and
that there's a new member on board
who'll be beat boxing at their live shows. It'd be a safe bet to say that when
the second LP drops, Aspects will once again be the 'UK rappers of the year'
which broadsheet newspapers and underground websites give props to, following in
the tradition of the commercial success seen by Roots Manuva, Mark B and Blade,
and most recently Blak Twang.

the interview kinda confirms what i was told.. dude was too blazed to go to the studio n they kinda fell out..

and be careful coz they're taking the piss quite a lot, like about them selling 9 million.. lol

and el eye isnt a condom tester, lol.. he works in replay records at the top of park st. bristol

thinkin about it bubba was kinda the odd one out... coz i think the rest are older.
el eye is my age (28), he was in my class at primary school (n i used to skate wiv him) bubba is about 24/25... he used be in my scout group. heh gangsta huh
