Shouldn't it be an independant investigation?  Nobody else thinks it is ridiculous that Bush is appointing the commitee to look into Iraq intelligence failures?

Sounds a bit familiar to the hutton inquiry. Like someone said, why would he order the inquiry if he thought he'd have to resign over it
