Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Yeah it's a shame is doesn't get the recognition he deserves. And only 2pac nut huggers would say that 2pac would smoke The D.O.C. in a battle.

haha call it what you want im not a fan of 2pac i just think pac has a better style and the doc only made one good cd others were shit and only some good songs

Who knows? Pac was killed when he was making his best music. DOC had that incident when he was about to explode. It's a shame they both didnt get a chance to show their full potential. Pac did it, tho.
