i liked how they revealed her name. the whole roll call thing.
the one sick part of the movie was when uma thurman squashes elle's eye...that shit creeped me out.

Wasn't there supposed to be a black male ninja that The bride fights? I remember watching one of the trailers and seeing a quick clip of a black male in some martial outfit fighting but when I saw Kill Bill 2, he wasn't featured. Does anybody know anything about this or did I just see something that wasn't there?

^^^^^^^there werre actually a few pioints in trailers that apparently didnt make it to the film likr Bill throwing a knife at some cat from his sword and some Pai Mei dialogue. it is listed that tarantino plays Pai Mei's english voice but...nothing.

finally saw this twice yesterday, which was opening day here in Australia. I loved it, thought it was better then the first.
Only disappointment was there was no GoGo in it except for the credits
loved the 50's/hitchcock kinda of opening credits and music
Elle Vs. The Bride - 2nd best fight of the whole tale of bloody revenge, 1st being GoGo Vs The Bride.
Pai Mei was classic
hope to see this movie at least once more in the cinema.

The film is amazing. Taken together with
Vol. 1
, the whole thing is practically flawless to me.
One question I had was...
Spoiler:
Why didn't she
kill
Elle? Maybe it's a picky point, but I thought the idea was that she would wipe out each henchman then Bill? I know leaving someone blinded in a trailer in the middle of nowhere (with a poisonous snake no less
) is as good as leaving them dead, but I was expecting her to go back and run her through... or at least blow up the trailer or something. Anyone else notice it?

I think she left the snake to take care of Elle because Beatrix's codename as an assassin was Black Mamba and the snake was a Black Mamba. But then again, Elle had her mobile, so she easily could of rang someone to come and help her but she still would never be a threat to anyone again.

I don't think the Bride knew there was a Black Mamba in the trailer, though. She wasn't there when that happened.

When the Bride is leaving the trailer she looks right at the Black Mamba and it hisses
she definently sees it, you see it from her P.O.V.

Great movie, absolutely worth the wait. Pai Mei was dope as hell! His attitude, his fighting, how he flips his beard every once in a while - dizzope! Had me cracking up and hyped up at the same time. That Esteban dude was also dope - one smooth, slick muthafucka that one.
The scene where B.B. wants to watch
Shogun Assasin
before bedtime was funny as fuck!
And I have to add, that although it was a very small role, Samuel L. Jackson really gave a life to his character. I also loved how they shot that scene with him talking - him from the back at the edge of the screen withhim blowing the smoke...

no BB?! So just have the cliffhanger at the end of VOl.1 and in vol.2 dont even mention the daughter?! Thats kinda off. I though Ch.10 was a very emotional Chapter that worked well for the ending.

Just saw it at theatre.. my thoughts..
disliked :
-how it was elle who killed budd instead of Beatrice.. kind of a bit disapointing, I was expecting her to kill all of them, even if the snake was a black mamba.
-I kinda would've liked a bit of a bigger part for Bill, info or somethin, anythin..
-Bill's death was a bit fast lol, pretty sweet actually, but kind of quick.
Besides that, I liked it alot!
