What ya'll think of this t-shirt design?

this is one of my designs i will have on sale.. separate from the competition.. but may give an idea of what i'm aiming for in the comp...  imagine it on the front of a white t-shirt or hoody..

I voted for good, but needs work because I think u could add some effects to the big blue godfather font. Maybe stroke or shadow, or both. And the blue could be darker imo... I'm not feeling the small font either, too light maybe.

The idea is great tho... connected?

like i said to ya earlier in that email, the printing really works best with solid colours.  (white is 'transparent')

I didnt want to mess around with effects too much.. try show me some examples if you want though. the font is called Corleone

the small font is because i didnt want it to stand out very much, i just chose a random light grey for this test. not happy with width of the text underneath, but i'm at work so i knocked it up in 5 mins

means are you knowing about "west coast connection forum"
i.e.... are you connected?

the mafia/godfather font is a further play on that.. too deep for ya?

I like it, but here goes my Idea....
I think you should take the logo from any one of californias professional sports orginizations weather it be past or present (throw back style). and flip it some how to reflect the forum. or even an outline  of the state of cali on the sleeve real small. holla back and let me know what you think.

enter the competition.. this thread isnt for ideas.. its for discussing the designs.

there are reasons which i've explained here and in the competition thread why graphic intensive designs dont work.

i'm pretty unimpressed with competition entries so far. had some lame ass slogan suggestions... stuff like "west coast bitch" "west side = the best side"...  or submissions of designs on black backgrounds and all kinds... when i've stated the entries are ~slogans~, but font suggestions are welcome.

i'll tell you this, my personal designs will have no fuckin cheesy throwing up dubs on them.. i cant believe ya'll want the same 10 year old played out bullshit!!

if one wins the comp then so be it.... but any entry that uses graphics has to provide them.

And Seer's right - you wouldn't catch me wearing a t-shirt with the 'W' sign on... people would think it was an Ali G t-shirt round my parts  

Only thing I'd say, like Sven, is that the text underneath is too light. And maybe it could be in a 'funkier' font?

^ glad someone understands me...  the text underneath isnt really meant to be obvious.. its like that "come closer to read trick" on some shirts.

Anyway...I like the design. Although the "C" should be a little bit more longer, not too much, 'cause as you said, it's part of that Godfather font.
