oh and by the way, I wasn't being racist, I was being prejudice. I hate dumb people. Dumb is not a race you fuckin moron.
i hate on south park where the beginning song plays followed directly by a commercial....the song is what? 1:20 long?
^ It's not like that. I dunno how they edit it for over there, but there definately aren't 15 breaks in a show.If you've got a half hour show, it starts at like 10 or whatever, they'll take a break at about 10:08, for 2 minutes, then another one at 10:20 or so, then end the show at 10:28. SOMETIMES, they'll go to a commercial at 10:27, come back at 10:29, and then start the next show immediately after the previous one finishes up (credits, etc.).So usually, there are 3 breaks in a half hour. Most half hour shows are actually 24 minutes long, not counting the 6 minutes of commercials during and after. two 2 minute breaks, and 1 2 minute break afterwards. A long show like Leno (hour long) will have a break at 10:08 or so, another break at 10:22 or so, a break at 10:35 or so, a break at 10:50, and then a break at 10:56, come back and finish up in a minute or two, then commercials afterwards. The beginning and middle won't have many commercials but they do a lot towards the end of the show. So the most commercial breaks you ever have are 6 an hour.
Shiet, I think that the only show on TV right now that actually DOES have 15 breaks in it is the Chappelle show... I hate that crap. But the Season I DVD fuckin kicks ass. Get it if you don't have it. (Although, I do agree that Season II is better than season one... I'll definately buy the SII DVD the day it comes out)...

So, if that's true, then how do they play Jay Leno? Doesn't that screw your schedule all up? You'd only have 52 minutes of T.V., including the commercials. All the shows must start 8 minutes earlier every hour over there if they're from America.

It's 50-52 minutes TV, with a 3 minute commercial in the middle of the show, and then 3-4 minutes at the end of the show, + 1-2 minutes selfpromotion, 1 hour in all. When you have commercials in the end of the show, it's easier to grab a bite, go to the toilet, etc.. you get a little longer, but a lot fewer breaks..
