Mentally handicapped people should be sterilised

there are so many couples who'd be great parents but cant get a child of their own. can you give one to them?
then you shouldnt judge on others to not get children.

There's nothing like controversy to stir up things.

Not really.  See, the problem with you starting 'controversy' is you're not really all that powerful, intelligent, or important.  So a fool can say whatever he wants and it doesn't really get controversial.  

Well, you might not think so but I've certainly stirred things up a little by saying this.
Examples:
- everyone suddenly thinks I'm stupid or something..not something I noticed being considered before
- All you people suddenly get all hectic without bringing a real argument making me (or Max Powers) change my mind
- and not untellingly,my karma has dropped 2 points.

I stay with my opinion. If I would get a child like that,I wouldn't want it to get children itself. Put yourself in this position: you have mentally handicapped kid and one day he/she comes up to you:

'Dad, do you like little children?''
Sure do'
'Would you want me to get little children?'
You have to think about that,I'm sure so you'll probably say 'I don't know'
'Dad,can i tell you something?'
'Yes'
'I'm/My girlfriend is pregnant.

Would you want something like this to happen to you and your vulnerable,handicapped kid?

I sure as hell wouldn't.

i cant believe you're even suggesting it. It's the most basic human right. I have a friend who's sister is mildly handicapped and she has a daughter who is one of the best kids i know. It's not your right to "stereilise" people.

My own cousin is mentally handicapped....and she isn't even THAT bad of a case....but I don't think she should get children.

Yeah, and your entitled to that opinion, but in all fairness, why should you be allowed to decide if someone can or cant have children. In all likelyhood they wont have kids anyway, but "sterilising" them is like something they'd do in the dark ages

i agree 110% that they should be sterilized...i personally believe that you should need a license to have children...too many deadbeat parents out there...
