O  M  G!!  I was BLOWN AWAY by the demonstration video and new screens.  This single game will ROCK the video game industry to it's very foundation.  After watching the new video, I'm nearly speechless (other than HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

It never was delayed.  Bungie never gave an exact release date until now, and before then it was "Fall 2004".  The release dates of "Holiday 2003", April 2004, Summer 2004, September 1, 2004...all those were made by gaming websites and game stores.  Only Bungie knows when the game will be completed, and they said it will be done and released on November 9th, 2004.

BTW, Halo sucked. the half-ass single player game was so boring i stopped playing it after the 3rd level. it was just so boring. the multiplayer was pretty fun though, but got old REALLY quickly.

i never got what everyone saw in this game. well i guess xbox people arent used to good games. yea thats right im bashing xbox.

i gotta say i disagree - multiplayer on Halo was one of the most addictive gameplay's ive ever played

me and my mates still play it regularly

WORD.....i never really seen what was so great about it myself.....dont get me wrong its a cool game...but shit it aint all that... Golden Eye for the N64 was way better and way more addicting than halo.....now that was a revolutionary game....

yea the game was boring even though it had the best A.I ! Come on...everything was perfect about this game.  The graphics, story, gameplay, the smoothness of the controls, every lil thing about this game is perfect.

no your fucking stupid. Halo wasnt that hyped. I didnt like halo because it actually was a really boring game. i never even heard about halo till it came out on pc and xbox guys said i should try out this game. i bought it 2 weeks later i sold it

The reason alot of people didn't like the single player was because of the difficulty of the game.  On Easy and Normal, the game is extremely easy (for me its like playing on god-mode).  On Heroic (2nd hardest difficulty) it got a lil tougher, and the AI got smarter.  On Legendary (hardest) the AI level was at max and the game got very difficult in certain parts.

The reason you thought it was boring was probably b/c you either had the difficulty too low and beat it too quickly, or had it too high and couldn't beat it period.  And don't even try to tell me you sat down...played legendary and beat it your first time playing.  I don't know a single person who's been able to do that, and I doubt you're any different.

Oh well, Halo is a game you either love or hate...I love it.

Its not the fucking hype nor is it the fucking AI or Diffuculty for God sakes.
the game is just fucking boring, theres nothing else to it. The story sucks, and the things you have to do on the single player sucks. i found myself just shooting these little shitheads throught the game. and as i said before i didnt even bother to finish it because it was so fucking boring.
