New Royce Interview (Disses Em/D12/Daz/JD/50/Suge/Game/Dre/Ice Cube)

Royce Da 5'9 did an interview with Australian Hip Hop Publication called " Hip Hop Down Under " which is a new magazine coming out in June of 04. I recieved a transcript through email of the interview. He has some choice words still for Em, D12, and others. Apparently the beef is not yet over between the two camps of D12 and Royce. Here is the transcript. It is an interesting interview.

Down Under> Thanks for joining us Royce for our upcoming first issue out in June. Tell us a little about your new album Death is Certain.

Royce> No problem. I get love from the Aussies down under as well as from all over the world. The pleasure is all mine. Death is Certain comes after the release of Build and Destroy. I think this album definetly appeals to the darker side and the political aspect of my experience in the game. I touch on many subjects and address issues that I feel are important right now. It's a tight album. I can't point to any one track but " What is beef " is one of my favorites.

Down Under> What made you use Biggie Smalls classic hit?

Royce> Because I wanted to address some issues and beef is one of them. Beef today is wack. I have had my own experiences with it in the game. I still do and I feel when it's time to smash then *****s need to smash. If it's time to kill the bullshit then lets kill it. There is a time and place for everything. A ***** needs to know when and how to pick his battles.

Down Under> Is all the beef between you and D12 resolved? What about Eminem? Also you mentioned on one of your diss tracks on the underground that D12 would never make another album. It looks like they have.

Royce> I compare the beef between D12 and I to Nelly and Krs One. D12 is pop. They appeal to 7th graders. Look at their new video " My Band ". Bubble gum rap. I mean best of luck to them *****s. But they aint in my league. I have nothing really to say for them *****s. They will put out an album whenever Em wants to make some side money. When will you ever see a Proof Solo? The Kuniva album aint gonna drop? Aint shit gonna drop but Em. Their comical rappers now. Commercial son. No love in the hood for them.

Down Under> Will there ever be any more diss records about D12?

Royce> I can't say yes or no. Bizarre to me is still a fat stuttering fuck. I don't know if *****s really know about the shit that went down outside of Hot Rocks when I knocked his bitch ass out in 2002. The ***** was wearing a shower cap and all but the ***** was drunk and tripping putting his hands on a ***** like the ***** want to fight? I first told the ***** to back off then I smashed his jaw with one punch and the fat fuck fell to the ground like glass joe. I heard a little diss on the D12 album and I may have something for them *****s. Em knows I can bring it if I want. He also knows the streets are real and I will fuck him up regardless of secret service or whoever he rolls with.

Down Under> Is there any of the D12 members your cool with?

Royce> I don't hate any of them. I am just saying they bubble gum rappers. They know it. They can't go into the hood. Proof got his ass beat down by Black Child and Gotti. Proof is a pussy. He can't fight. I mean we had it out last July and he drew down and I reached for my shit but in the end the ***** wouldn't knuckle up. All this Em and D12 talk about how they gangstas and they gon test someone. Them house *****s aint testing anyone. Their studio clowns and actors. Em is like their slave master and D12 is like the house *****s. If this was 1804, Em would have the whip and D12 would say whoop my ass Masssaaaa.... (Royce laughs)

Down Under> What do you think of other Detroit Emcees ICP and Shane Capone?

Royce> They aiiht. Shane is tight. I done some work with Shane and if you ask me man, Shane is a white boy who can flow. The dude can rap and honestly is not that far from being on the level of Marshall. I like him. ICP, I got nothing against them but I don't consider them rappers.

Down Under> What do you think of current beefs in the game like Daz vs Kurupt or Budden vs 50 or the whole Suge vs Snoop thing?

Royce> First off, Daz is a straight bitch. Fuck Delmaur. The ***** from the South and from the church. He a choir boy who hiding in Atlanta with that bitch Jermaine Dupri. They both some bitches. So Fuck Daz. Daz is about as Gangsta as Proof. Daz can't rap worth shit and his production is shit also. Kurupt can flow and lyrically he will torch Daz. But he on the wrong label. Death Row aint shit. Theyre with Koch but still they aint shit right now and even Suge knows this. The Snoop thing is a little comical to me. Snoop is like his cousin. A pussy. He talking about setting a fight up with Suge. He wouldn't show up anywhere one on one and fight nobody. He is a skinny ***** who can rap but the ***** can't scrap and I will say that to him. He wanna set it up, I will fight him and do it on pay per view for all to see. And I will knock his bitch ass skinny ass out. Daz too. Fuck both them *****s. As far as Suge goes. He an idiot because he keeps going back to jail. He was a good CEO but now he aint shit. His wife couldn't run shit and neither can anyone affiliated with that label. Crooked I was smart to get out while he could. The Releast also. I tell you what. It shows you how fucking sad the label has fallen since the death of 2pac.

Down Under> What about 50 Cent?

Royce> (laughs) Oh, I forgot that one. 50 Cent is a flash in the pan. I think the mainstream is already tired of his " I got shot nine times " ass. He can't flow and he is a gimmick. Plain and simple. A disgrace to the real 50. Sticky should have beaten his ass back in Jersey. Budden and 50 is a gimmick beef in itself.

Down Under> Do you think by calling these rappers out that you are drawing into the controversy and fueling the fire?

Royce> I don't mince words. Fuck these *****s. If they don't like it then come get me. I aint no puppet for no *****s. I said it before when I said D12 was wack in an interview. I will say it again. I don't mince words.

Down Under> I know it's kind of cliche to end with word association but we do have some topics that are non hip hop that we want brief comments on so are you game for this?

Royce> Oh yea. Shoot. I am always ready to touch on anything.

Royce> Dre is a good producer. He needed to scrap Detox. His career as an artist is over though.
