Snoop needs to practice what he preaches, because unlesss something's changed, Snoop wants Puffy (The biggest mogul on the east coast) to executive produce his new album and the Neptunes, one of the biggest producers from the east to produce, and also has them and Kanye West producing the 213 album but no Warren G.  If Snoop really wants to help the West Coast, he should retire and focus his efforts to be a businessman and help promote west coast artists instead of holding em back (E-White) and screwing them out of money (Eastsidaz)

Anyway...I'm glad to hear he sounds very confident in trying to bring the West back. So let's just see what will happen, 'cause so far it's only talk...hopefully he'll succeed in his goal.

And about the Nas thing: he gives a whole other version than what Frank Alexander (Pac's bodyguard) stated in his book. According to Frank's version, it definitely didn't go down like that, he didn't punk Nas, it was more about respect.
Something tells me Snoop is just making that shit up, but that's just my assumption of course.

I can see where you're coming from, but I genuinely believe that Snoop wouldn't just make shit up when it comes to 'Pac. It always seems to me that he has to much respect for him to do something like that. If you ever read ''Tha Doggfather'' you'll see that Snoop is surprisingly open about 'Pac, and isn't afraid to admit what he considers were his mistakes and flaws. Despite this, he always maintains how much admiration and respect he had for him. Plus, his description of the account between Tupac and Nas may be different to others but it doesn't seem to me like he made that up on the spot...

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to discover no reference by Snoop to Don ''Magic'' Juan in this interview. What happened - did he get divorced from him too? Or maybe Snoop's wife got him in the court settlement!

Back to the topic, that was a really good interview. As CRAFTY said, we will have to wait and see if Snoop starts making some positive changes. Putting out a new album through Doggystyle Records (besides his own of course) would be a step in the right direction. I'm certain Snoop has the finances to turn Doggystyle into a label of Aftermath proportions. He just needs to start working on it. With this interview and Snoop recently proclaiming that he was going to drop the ''izzle'' talk, I see a very positive change on the way for Snoop. Let's hope his next album is a strictly West Coast affair.
