Spider Man 2

the game looks to be shaping up to be a hit.....with a re-designed engine, Spidey will actually be swinging through a post 9/11 NYC (complete with two beams of light where the twin towers once stood)....even the statue of liberty is included...they say the game is much more free roaming in a GTA sort of way and even has some RPG elements to it...the game will follow the movie's plot (with some extras thrown in it for adventure purposes) and will be available the day before the movie for the consoles and i think for pc too.

The PC version will be a budget version though. The graphics on the PC version ain't really all that. They serve their purpose, but there's no eye candy what so ever. The console versions are supposed to be different, as far as I know. I tested the demo of the PC version, it was aaight, but really short. The web-swinging is done pretty well.

yea the pc version isnt the same, but the console one looks awesome.

in the first one if you went too far down to the streets you died, which pissed me off because im a superhero and i wanted to socialize with the citizens.

anyway, im probably gonna check this game out.

Yeah, I heard alot about the free roaming of the movie. That's all I hear about it. I'm gonna rent it if I can.

they added a few extra enemies/people in the game so there's a good chance she's not in the movie

the one preview said that Kurt Conner is in the game....if he's in the movie, there's a chance that Lizard will be in Spiderman 3

This is what im gonna like about Spiderman 2. The free roaming ability. To walk around town like a pimp





In the first game you shot your web into the sky and somehow you latched onto clouds?? but in spiderman 2 you can latch onto things like helicopters (and then they pull you around the city)

i was going to spend my money on that mega man classics game but now i think i may wait for this instead.  good lookin out.

the first Spider-Man game was weak. got it, finished it, sold it. No replay value whatsoever.

this one does look a little better with the free-roaming abilities but ill probably bore off it pretty quickly. Besides Goldeneye, movie tie-in games ain't great
