I just found out that Finding Nemo was a book in another country for years. Disney stole the idea and shit. And the same with Monsters Inc.

I knew about that thing about Nemo before. And I knew that The Lion King was connected to Kimba, but I didn't know it was such a blatant remake. The screenshots they have are particularly revealing.

Basically, most great things are jacked/adopted from somewhere. That's because usually no single staff can make something that great.
To make something amazing, ppl need to work together (or jack from each other). Take Fight Club for an example.
Someone who writes books had to write a book first. Then, someone got that book and writed a screenplay. Then, 2 great actors and a great director made a movie out of it. Notn of that wouldve been possible without the book. And usually, no filmmaker writes such a great story, it takes a writer to do that part.

btw: Dre jacked too, and Matrix is jacked too.

The difference is that Fight Club was adapted to the screen with input from Palahniuk.

Disney TOOK the story from this movie and didn't give any credit or compensation to the original.

As much as that blows, at least Disney brought the stories to life and made them more popular than they ever possibly could have been with another animation company.

....They're still assholes though
