Tech officially boycotts the 213 album
« on: August 17, 2004, 05:58:29 PM »
Yes. The boycott has been launched.

This is only the 2nd time Tech has officially boycotted a west coast album. The last one was Da Game is to be sold....

I refused to buy that album. After 5 years, last year I finally bought it, only for collection purposes.

It is with a sad face that Tech boycotts this 213 joke as well. This is an album that Tech has been waiting for since he was a young devil bumpin his doggysyle cassette. This was an album that Tech was rubbing his hands anxiously for.

I havent heard any of the leaked tracks. I havent heard the retail. Havent even heard the first single. Based on principle alone, I refuse to own this cd in any shape or form. I consider this album a contaminating substance, not allowed to be placed next to my cds.

A 213 album with no Warren production is a man with no dick, God damn it.

*signs boycott papers*

Come on man, at least download the damn thing before you knock it.  Its not what I expected, and its not as good as it should have been, but its still a dope CD, on my top 3 list for the year.

I agree with you 100%.  I boycotted paid the cost, and I'm boycotting this as well.

WHEN WILL ALL OF YOU REALIZE THAT THIS IS NOT A 213 ALBUM!!! if this was a 213 album, WARREN G would produce. This is snoop featuring nate & warren.  MOTHER FUCK SNOOP FOR DOING THAT.  If you buy this album, you're basically saying that you agree with snoops idea to boot warren from production.

I don't agree with that, so i ain't buying the shit. nuff said.

jeez... people like yall are sad, man. As if your supposed "boycott" is gonna be so popular that the news will reach Snoop, Warren and Nate, and it'll make them create a whole new album to your likings. This is probably the one and only time you'll hear these 3 together on a full LP, so cop it and enjoy it for what it is.

Believe me, I'd have loved to hear Warren do the beats as much as the next man, but I still would like to hear them spit together on their own 213 album, regardless of the production. C'mon man, get your shit straight. And then people wonder why westcoast doesn't sell... at least eastcoast fans aren't as picky

I agree with Tech...I would never buy this bullshit...Warren G is better than any of the producers on the album combined, and he can't even produce his own group... :-\
