This is only the 2nd time Tech has officially boycotted a west coast album. The last one was Da Game is to be sold....

I refused to buy that album. After 5 years, last year I finally bought it, only for collection purposes.

It is with a sad face that Tech boycotts this 213 joke as well. This is an album that Tech has been waiting for since he was a young devil bumpin his doggysyle cassette. This was an album that Tech was rubbing his hands anxiously for.

I havent heard any of the leaked tracks. I havent heard the retail. Havent even heard the first single. Based on principle alone, I refuse to own this cd in any shape or form. I consider this album a contaminating substance, not allowed to be placed next to my cds.

A 213 album with no Warren production is a man with no dick, God damn it.

If I had money, I'd do the samething. But now that the release date has passed, and I still don't own 213, fuck it, even after I get this job, I ain't buying it. It's over. Snoop, I got love for you, but until you put out real westcoast music, the way it should be, the way you talk about it in your interviews talking about how no one respects the west, I am not buying your hypocritical music. I will wait like a faithful boyfriend until you do, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't play with other artist... lol.

MK - No, snoop isn't gonna be like "damn some dudes on the internet ain't gonna buy this album, I better redo it".  But I'm just saying i'm not gonna buy an album, put out by the group called 213 that doesn't have Warren's production.

I don't give a fuck if there are tight beats by other producers or not.  That isn't the point. If its 213, snoop raps, nate sings, warren produces. end of story.  Shit it wouldn't even have to be 100% warren production. I don't mind quik, battlecat, and maybe 1 more westcoast producer, but what they did on this album is fucking wrong.

Maybe the next 213 album we can get R. Kelly to do all of the hooks instead of nate, get as many different producers as we can  and just let snoop rap.  Would you "still support the west" on this one?  God can you imagine how great this album would be?

tech you may be a dumb faghan muslim, but you're right on with this 213 boycott, i downloaded this waste of an album and i feel i wasted a couple hours of my life trying to give this a listen...im starting to think its actually worse then paid da cost which is one of the worst albums ever...i could go on and on...us westcoast fans need to take a stand and show artists(mainly snoop) that we dont support this garbage, pop sellout style he has taken....anyway  i support the cause/boycott

I wouldn't say that this album is bad, but it's not good enough for me to purchase, it's an average album. 
I'll pick it up for my collection when I see it for $4.99 at the used CD shop, that goes for Paid The Cost... too, I was smart enough to listen to that first and stay away from the store.

you got my support tech.  snoop has fallen off to the point of no return.  no warren g production.  production by missy elliot.  yea imma waste my money on that shit.  they hype for this album died 3-4 years ago.  This album will be lucky to go platnium.  when i think about it,  it will go gold eventually b/c of there is still some hype.  But once word spreads how wack this shit is,  sales will hit a dead end.

I don't see how everybody hates on this album? It's got some REAL nice westcoast tracks. It's got nearly no guests, and it actually came out! Thats more than I can say than a lot of other releases from the west in recent memory. Is it the best album ever? Hell no. Is it good? Yeah. Take it for what it is.

Who gives a fuck if missy elliot produced So Fly? The tracks hot. Nobody shouts out "MISSY WHAT?!!" on it, and everybody was feeling it till they found out missy did it. Quit hating.

I don't understand how if you don't like an album you are hating?  How is that hating?  is everybody just suppossed to luv the 213 album, just because of its name?  the album is boring.  it has absolutely no replay value.  Not a single song sticks in my head and makes me wanna play it over and over.  How is that hating?  I don't like the album, plain and simple, no hate involved whatsoever.
