anyone else interested in how this game is going to turn out?

All I can say is I swear to god I wont buy this game no matter how great it is said to be ... Molyneux fooled the whole world with Black & White. And I will never - never - forgive him. And, Im pretty sure he might do that again. Fuck him.

That may be true, 7even, but remember, he's been working on this game for over 5 years.  It started out as "Project Ego" for the PC, but evolved into Fable for Xbox.  This game is about two amazing things: 1) The ability to do and be whatever you want.  Extremely open-ended, and a VERY advanced AI.  And 2) Choosing whether to be good, evil, neutral, or w/e the hell you want.

I have this game preordered, and I am very excited for it.  I've been playing Morrowind for the past month just to hold off my hunger for the game.  The big thing of this game is the AI...its the most advanced AI to come out.  Its simply amazing how they react to you.  Watch some gameplay videos of it 7even, and tell me what ya think.

I think it looks like a fantastic helluva game, but then again I thought Black and White was a fantastic helluva game before I played it myself after buying it on the first day. I remember like it was yesterday, EVERYBODY was so damn excited about Black and White. The Game Mags, my friends, me, the tv shows.. everyfuckinone was hyped about it. Then it came out, and it sucked. Delayed for years, hyped for years, still sucked dick and was full of bugs. You could not even complete the game properly because your creature wont be re-sized due to a major bug.

I fear the same thing might happen with Fable.

To me, Molyneux is yet a genius when it comes to marketing. Everybody loves his games until  they come out.
If Fable is as good as everybody thinks, Im down with it. But I dont think it is, since the whole world was fooled by Molyneux a few years ago.. with Black and White.

well they admitted this time that they cut out alot of features that they would have loved to do, such as online play

anyways i think you should read that 10 page preview off of IGN because thats the person's hands on experience with the game...plus you really don't have to worry about too many bugs on a console. developers like to get it right on the first shot

but i feel you, you got burnt one time and it's easy to have some reservations about jumping head first into the newest promise

I read that in the US-Version the Sex will be censored, and in the German Version the violence will be cut down to a minimum.

Now how great is that. I guess I gotta try to get my hands on the UK Version... if Overseer reads this ... is UK-Xbox PAL?

I'll be downloading it when it comes out but I doubt I'll play it that much cause I hate RPGs. I'll only play if you can kill innocent people and shit like that and it doesn't turn out to be gay.

You just download the xbox game and play it on the xbox. not that hard.

you can have your xbox chipped so that you can download games off the internet... i personally don't believe in game piracy, the guys that make games put in 1000 times more work than musicians put into cd's and games are much more enjoyable....

I don't totally believe that.  For new games, yes...since developers have to put in a hell of a lot more time and effort into games nowadays.  But for older games, I've downloaded a few older pc titles (doom, ages of empires, empire earth).  But Fable...they been workin on it for 5 YEARS...FIVE FUCKING YEARS.

To people who download this game, I have absolutely no respect for you as a person or a gamer.
