Yeah, it's really an album that has to grow on you.
The first time I listened to it, I was like "hmmmm, okay, not bad". Then it became "sounds good"...today I bumped it again and I really think it's a banging album.

I've been listening to it for the last 3 days, and i hated it the first time i heard it. But now it's an alright album, even though I skip a few tracks when im listening to it. A good album I gotta say, but not the best this year..no way.

I've been feeling the same since the day I first heard it. TO ME it's a classic new school westcoast. Prolly the best to come from that camp after the Death Row era. So many catchy hooks, westcoast beats... I don't know what ya'll expected from this project!

The album is decent...Could have been so much better...But "MLK" IS a classic track (the album version is worse than the one on the advance though)...One of the better west coast tracks in a while...PeACe

I've found the same thing.  I had the same experience when I picked up doggfather back in the day, I hated that album at first, but when I listen to it now I wish snoop could make something like that.  So  maybe The Hard Way will be called a classic in a few years just like doggfather.

"Verbal Assaulta", you are a chump with no guts. You want this album to be so good that you are making it sound good. Half of yall like that, the other half genuinely enjoy the album. This album was a disgrace,.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

So now you tell people what to like and what not to like?

If somebody changes their mind they are a Chump with no guts? You haven't even heard the album unless you changed your mind on your boycott and listened to it... What does that say about you?

I've grown to like it a little bit. I still skip through the disc faster than some elementary girls playing hop-skotch, but I got my favorites.
