Hockey World Cup

Anybody else a hockey fan here and is watching it?

This is like the biggest hockey event, just like the olympics are for Basketball, and the world cup is for Soccer.

I got Canada winning it all, we're the Olympics champions and we've won the last 2 world championships (with our B and C teams).

Not time for to brag about Canada's hockey team. Even though every team has a chance to win, I believe we have the best becuase we are not as injured as the other teams . We're missing 10 olympic Gold Medalists from 2002 and a few other key players (bertuzzi, pronger, macinnis...) but we'll still win it all. We could've dressed 2 A-Teams . Not to mention, we're the youngest team there  .
(USA being the oldest team, but they have a great chance to win becuase of Eshe, this dude is nutz)

Final Standings will be

1. Canada (Heatley, Lemieux, Igy...need I say more  ?)
2. Sweden (Forsberg, naslund :S, only weakness = goalie)
3. USA/Finland (depends on how good Kipro plays for Finland..and if America shows up to PLAY Physically)
4. USA/Finland (^^)
5. Slovakia (defence is great, nice talent up front)
6. Chezhs (SOOOOOOOO MUCH TALENT...SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! BUT THEY CAN'T PLAY LIKE A TEAM!!!)
7. Russia (all their key players arn't play becuase of the Coach they chose)
8. Germany (who knew they played hockey? just kidding Olaf Kölzig is a great goalie, and Marco sturm is a good player)

and yes, Brett Hull was born in Canada, and joined the US team becuase he could'nt make the Canadian team. Lots of players do that now :p

we play the slovaks in the quarters
