I don't care for Tarantino films. I'd still pick him over Smith, but Tarantino is hardly as god as you guys are claiming. Kubrick was way ahead of Quentin, as far as that weird stuff is concerend. Fuck Kill Bill, I'll take To Kill a Mocking bird over Kill Bill any day of the week. So far all Tarantino has ever made me do was say "that's pretty cool". His movies have never moved me in anyway, other than the cool feeling I get when I see a Chuck Norris or Segal movie. Sorry, but in my opinion Tarantino is way too over rated by his fans.

If you wnat to get moved, go to fucking church.  A movie is a movie...and tarantino is good at it.  His style of filming MIGHT be overrated, but his writing is classic.

Id like to see Kill Bill in 1970. I don't even like Kubrick but he's still a better director. 2001, Dr. Strangelove, and fucking Spartacus, I mean c'mon man. Full Metal Jacket is another great one. Tarantino is the most over rated directoer of all time. I don't mean he's bad, but people talk about him like he's above and beyond all the others.
