NEW YORK (AP) -- NBC announced Monday that Conan O'Brien will take over from Jay Leno as host of the "Tonight" show. But he'll have time to write his jokes -- the planned succession won't happen until 2009.

That's good. Leno's my man, he's really a cool ass dude, but he lost his spark once he hit the 10th anniversary mark. Conan has been on fire so he deserves it. I actually stay up til 1:30 just to watch his show.
