Uneek, i'd recommend you to listen to westcoast classics like 2pac, snoop, tha dogg pound, dj quik, dre, ... plus some recent westcoast gangsta stuff like hi-c, 40 glocc, game, wc, eastsidaz... but i m not a specialist for underground artists though. listen to mixtapes too. like felli fell's, julio g, daddy v...
i think you can really find your taste. the west is a inexhaustible source of talented artists.
