Better? 700,000 in 3 days is pretty good. It'll do another 700,000 this week and by the time next wek is over he'll probably be 2 platinum. I don't think the album is good enough to match his sales for the last two albums, but I think it'll still go 5 platiunm.

em had 3.5 million cds shipped to stores....

thats what they mean by pre orders

Moving 700K units is incredible!....eminem show didn't even sell that much when it was released on a friday.

I want it to be "official" that this is his worst Album, so that dude puts more effort in next time. www.allmusic.com and www.amazon.com already rated the LP pretty bad, although the previous ones were rated good. But unless his sales also suck, it won't have too much of an effect.
Hasnt MMLP broke some record when it comes to selling in the first 2 weeks or something like that? How much was that?

its not bad cd, it may b under eminem's average, but joints like yellow brick road,toy soldiers, never enough, mocking bird, spend some time etc. makes it worth my 20euros. and i dont regret buying it.

nice numbers, i think it has been shipped 15k or some to stores here in finland, that' gold limit.

I don't know, depends on the audience. Most people here thought Eminem Show sucked, but it went 9 platinum. It all dpends on the singles, that what sells mass albums. Take beat it, and Billy Jean off of Thriller, and wouldn't have sold shit. Take Who Am I off of Doggiestyle and it wouldn't have sold shit. Take can't Touch This off of Please Hammer don't Hurt'em, and it wouldn't have sold shit. Now Encore doesn't have that breakaway hit but he can still live off of rub off sales. Bad and Dangerous were way worse than Thriller and Off The Wall, but they still sold just as much as Off The Wall. There is now way Em's album is going to sell less that SSLP, and'll probably get an extra platinum. I predict 5 times platinum.
