The man was simply defending himself after being assaulted by a fan.  Why shouldnt he defend himself.. b/c he makes more money than us.  In the heat of the moment how are you supposed to know what your getting hit with.  Especially when its a full of beer.  Thats bull shit.  But than again i understand where you are all coming from, 90% of the dubcc is white, an 90% of white people are complete pussies and dont know the first thing about defending yourself.  You dont understand the first thing about watching your friends back in a situation like that.  So hes the bad guy for defending himself b/c he makes more money than us.  Fuck that, hes a man first tho, and has to defend himself, but with you all being white, most of you dont know the first thing about defending yourself or your friends.

as for civil right related issues.. "retaliation" won't really help you in court, in fact, it will only make matters worse for you. he didnt defend himself, he retaliated. that's a big difference.

These fans pay to come and see these players play week in week out.  Sure 1 in ever 100 of them are probably asshole and would do anything to get a reaction out of a player, but in NO circumstances what so ever should a PROFESSIONAL player retaliate.  I know if somebody threw beer at me I'd be pissed but I certainly wouldn't go loosing my head and go and try to find the fan who did it...he was just stupid thats all really.  He lost his head.  

It aint even about being black or what, your just being stupid there.  It could of easily of been a white player attacking a black fan, lets not even get started on the whole race shit because it has nothing to do with this argument.  The fact is, instead of the dude just walking away and letting the security guards find the man and eject him from the arena he went after him like a mad man and started a riot.  He basically didn't want it with the other player on the other team so when 'weaker' fan did something to him, he decided he would release his anger on him instead.

If Ron were the bad ass you are making him out to be, he would have stepped to Wallace, who wronged him much more in my opinion, than a cup of ice. you have to draw a line between "the Streets" and a fucking NBA-Game.
it's a difference if some asshole in real life throws a cup of beer at you (in a club or somewhere..) or if some fan throws it at you during a fucking NBA-Game when you're supposed to be on court playing basketball
