Dammit, enough is enough.  Fiona Apple, arguably one of the most talented musicians to come out of the 90's, has been stranded on Sony Records for fucking YEARS now, and they wont' release her album, or release her from her contract.  She released her first album, "Tidal" which I bought almost immediately because at the time I thought she was pretty hot for a skinny gangly girl my age, and I loved the bluesy "ShadowBoxer"... She had great success with the album, and went well over Platinum, all on songs she wrote herself, and played piano on herself, with her incredible studio band.

After that, she released "When The Pawn...." an amazingly even BETTER album, although it only had 2 singles and didn't do as well, it still went Platinum, and was extremely creative, with many of the songs being extended jams with her band, which mixes blues rock and jazz, just an awesome band an an awesome CD.

In May 2003 she finished the second version of her third album, which Sony will not release to save their fucking lives.  Meanwhile they release shit from anybody and everybody, but won't release an artistically creative album, bent on pushing the boundaries of music out just a lil' bit more.  I'm gonna find a link to "Extraordinary Machine", so yall can hear it and tell me if you think this chick is creative or not.  This is good music. 

If they don't want to relase the album, hell, just let her out of her contract, even if you keep the album, so she can go somewhere else and record.  Shit. 

Listen to this song, and leave feedback.  This is the title track from her unreleased 3rd album Sony won't touch, and has buried in a warehouse.  This song, finished, sits in a warehouse because of Sony.  Disgusting.
