I don't know if he did it for free or not, but as far as I know, not getting paid for being exective producer doesn't mean he didn't do it. Exec. producer decides what artistic direction the album goes to, it doesn't necessarily mean they reap a portion of the profits.

Plus, if he did do it for free, I'd still make damn sure EMINEM is printed somewhere on the album cover with big letters. Teenyboppers see his name, they buy the album.

Is that what he would call "staying true to the game"? Getting your so-called teenyboppers to cop the album? I wouldn't think so. Anyway, I think Eminem screwed up this album pretty bad with his monotome beats - about every fucking song sounds the same. It's a damn waste.
