"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I don't know if he's betta.
It's close as fuck and I lov 'em both.
If I really had to decide it would probably be Lil' Fame.

Scarface/Nas
Snoop
Dr.Dre
Biggie
2pac

to me, these five artists have accomplisehed the most in hiphop and have had the biggest effect on me.......those to things combined brings me to my list, which looks similar to others list as well.
-Dre has just created too many classics....
- Snoop was the best mc on two of the top 5 albums of all time (Chronic and Doggystyle)......
-pac, even though he is played out for me currently, i still got love for him and respect the good he did and the MOST of the music he made.
-Biggie is like the east coast Snoop to me, although he never got the chance to fall off like Snoop did.
-Scarface is incredible to me.been in the game so long and still drops classic albums;only one album, the "Homies" album, was wack......he is deep, multi talented and versatile....INCREDIBLE
-Nas to me, is the only artist EVER, besides Biggie, to not lose his vicious flow he had from the beginning.  I mean, no matter over what type of beats, you always know Nas can bring it any time he wants to.   That Lost Tapes cd is incredible, best cd released on the net this year.......I may not feel him quite as much when he is rolling with INC, but i know he will still bring it at times (and it won't be as bad as Nastradamus guaranteed, i am hoping more like It Was Written, which was Nas' second best album and best commercial album).....

My list does not represent what i feel currently about these artists, but their old music never fails me..........of the six i listed, only Scarface is stil on top of his game, while Nas seems to still be a great MC but also a dumbass!  Oh well....as for Snoop, every Snoop fan wrestles with the fact that Snoop is off again on again, and tends to release a lot of wack music.............Dre seems average right now, but of course he will change up the game one more time.......Pac's unreleased albums have never really touched me with the exception of some songs here and there, but him and BIG are in my cd player right now.........Me Against the World and Ready to Die!
