soda. It's funny going out to New Orleans and Memphis a few years back and family would ask me "You want some pop?" and I had no clue what they were saying lol

If I happen to come across the subject when I speak English, I always call it soda. (Or Coke, but that only means Coca-Cola for me).

Yep we say pop in Canada, the odd person might say soda. I always thought Soda was an American thing though
