the album is dope. there are releases that have come out, but this album has Dre backin it which means the west has the chance to get the spotlight again for the first time in a LONG time. if people want the west to even jump on the comeback trail, they need to get behind this album

People hate on Game's Lyrics way too much here.

Yes, he often raps about Sneakers, he boasts legends all the time and he says noone should run up his black 745. We got that already.

Still, if you arent the type of listener who wants a rapper to spit a random dictionary word every 5 seconds, Game's Lyrics arent THAT bad.

Just a couple of my favorite Game Lyrics from the Documentary LP:

Lord forgive me for my sins I know it's last minute/
Put the Chronic in the air, a little Hash in it/
Spread my wings if only I could fly/
Why fighting to live when we are living to die.

I got shot over 2 pounds of weed/
still aint found them niggas/
but Karma come quicker for a nigger on the other side of the gun/
that's something I gotta teach my son/

the media is bullshit now we can't even say bitch/
they accusin micheal of touchin kids in the wrong places/
at first they embraced him, had a couple of face lifts/
now people wanna place him with murderers and rapists/

don't think those are bad lyrics, people need to calm the fuck down. like if most albums were on the lyrical level of ras, technique or em.

What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

I think its a great album, Game imo exceeded expectation, but lets not forget, the producers and support hes getting is probably among the most powerful in rap, anyone with support like that should/would blow.

I can only imagine what would have been if rappers like Masta Ace has this sort of support.

Dunno...im more of an Ace fan maybe..

Stuff like Long Hot Summer was awesome.

I thinkn alot of people here just thin it's cool to hate something like a Game album. Beleive me, the West Coast has not seen anything like this album in years. His album hasn't dropped yet and everyone already heard it. That's anticipation. that's successful. Even the haters downloaded the album. How much more attention are you gonna give him before it is cool to like him?

The Game is gonna blow whether you like it or not. You guys need to sit back, smoke a phat one and enjoy the light the West coast hasn;t seen since 2001.

Really, who has been this big since 2001? Since 1993? And who has lived up to that hype?

he's geting ateention due to his affialiation to g unit, not his lyrics....

am i the only one that noticed the trend??
50 cent- "Most anticipated rapper since...."
lloyd banks- "Most anticipated rapper since....."
game- "Most anticipated rapper since....."

my homeboy told me today,  "i like game, i thought he was gonna be a one hit wonder, but he's fuckin nice.... he raps like hes from the east coast" that summed it up for me....
i hope game isnt the one that "brings the west back", besides, i dont think hes as good as he thinks he is... he talks a lot of shit, but can he lyrically back it up? i dont think so.. but thats just me

i dont think he's "west" enough to really bring the west coast back, and im gonna be pissed off if i go to stores soon, and all these bandwagon riders buy up all my real west coast cause of game..

billlboard, i think he might have had something, but he didnt have enough shit recorded for me to really judge(i think)

if you like pop music, then i guess this is the best album since 2001, but imo, for real west coast, it's good, but not up there yet
i think theres a vibe west coast rappers get when they're in the studio with other west coast rappers, and it's clearly not there in games shit
i'll shut the fuck up now, but i still got plenty more to say on this subject, and i think its kinda fucked up that game is false representing the west coast in alot of his shit... he even claims to have a yonkers flow, i dont need to say shit about that

i liked wc's shit better than games album
boo yaa's shit was better
westside connection's shit was better
eiht's shit was better
quik's shit was better
yuk/c-bo's shit was better
i think mack 10 and da hood's shit was better

think about your 5 favorite west coast albums
IS GAME REALLY WEST COAST?????

but like i said, im gonna support, and go out and buy his shit, but only cause dre's getting paid for it.... ;D

i dont think he is the gretest ever or anything but i really think everyone should be behind this guy.....this is the one chance we got to back a west coast artist that acctually has the chance of blowing up and bringing some of the spotlight to the west.....if you havent seen the commerical on tv now check it the first thing it says is "THE WEST IS BACK" they even promoting it to be a west coast album......i say everyone stop hating and just support this shit and if dre behind it i dont think you can go too wrong....thats just my opinion we all need to back this shit....cause i really doubt we going to see a buzz like this for another west coast artist in a very long while.....and to the people hating on his "YONKERS" flow....oh well thats how he raps dont mean he aint from the west.....he damn welll states it loud and clear on almost every track that he from the west!.....keeps the subject matter west coast and all.....anyways lets back this shit.....peace
