I'm not from the west but I am not supporting the Game (or Dr. Dre for that matter).  I would like to see the west coast blow up again, but I just can't support the Game I'm not feeeling the guy.

I do find it funny that SGV says fuck Too Short, but a couple of months ago he had a thread about making questions for an interview with Too Short.  Just pointing that out.

That's exactly the problem. How can a guy from New York, China, Italy, England, etc.. support the West Coast when all he's hearing in the radio is Dr.Dre, 2Pac and Snoop?

2 WAYS:

1) THE PAST: If Snoop/Dre signs him, or talks about him.
2) THE PRESENT: If people from Cali supports hot Cali rappers, making them big, buying their records, letting major labels be interested in them.

There are only 2 ways. N.2 is even better. But it's up to Cali's people to show some love to the West Coast gangsta rap. C'mon...

Tha West need to unite again as far as i see , even Snoop realises that tha East is still shitting on tha West remember last year he talked about it in an interview saying they stealing from tha West ans other shit like that. I'm not saying start a East vs West beef againi'm saying we need to show tha same supprt from back in tha days. Westside Connection tried to resurrect tha West with Terrorist Threats but instead of niggaz goin' out and buying tha album all they did was say shit like them niggaz old, give it up.
I'm tired of all this bullshit no doubt i don't like G-Unit at all i was dissapointed that The Game signed witt them in stead of stayin' 100% Aftermath but i just put that shit behind me and said fuck it i'm gonna support The Game i don't have to buy a G-Unit album.

If we ain't supportin' ourselves, don't expect a Major to. Unless Game sells 50 numbers out the gate, DO NOT expect there to be a huge wave of West Coast cats being signed because we don't support.

Remember back in the day when EVERYONE got support? That's why people got signed during the wave of Major labels in the West. Interscope and Virgin took huge chances with Game and G.Black, I don't think they'll take anymore chances.

If you feel the need to still fiend for Dre's 38 year old ass to talk about being a G. If you feel the need to still fiend for Too Short's 43 year old ass to talk about Pimpin'. If you feel the need to still fiend for Snoop Dogg's tales of being a Super Gangsta at 34. If you feel the need to really hear any of these old ass rappers, over any new emcees, then DO NOT talk about the West's comeback. You're not apart of it and you're the reason for the West to be so dismal and stagnant.

also, but it's not only the music... there's a big difference between the image of an east coast rapper and the image of a west coast rapper. don't get me wrong, i like west coast rap much better than east coast rap, but the overall picture is just not appealing to the mainstream.

Disagree. If you look at Yuk, he dresses no different than any East Coast dude. He wears minks, rocks fitteds, throwbacks and NBA patches. Look at the Federation, they're no different than Southerners. Phil Da Ag is no different than a Kweli or Mos Def. The difference is, all the artists from other areas get the love and support from their own.

There are so many wiggers here im sure if they start up something in AUstralia so we can actually buy music it'd be good. THe only way for most of us to gain access to this type of music is through the internet...
