Hes barely even a factor in the game...he just resorts to ghetto shit to make an impact like at award shows and shit...I had so much respect for his buisness sence but then he stopped puttin out music and turned into this ....I guess character would be the word Im looking for...and lost alot of respect from me... what happened to this godfather type cat that used to renegotiate those platinum artists deals and walk up in buisness meatings and demand that changes be made on certain artists royalties and shit?....sometimes I doubt  suge could even get a table at chez whitey's at this point.....

Doesnt anyone realise Death Row aint put our anything _decent_ since Dre left?

Dre is doing the things the row once did.. he brought the formula from ruthless and took the formula with him when he left

^^Except Tha Doggfather, that was good. But anything after that - not so good. And what's really pathetic about it is the fact that very little of the stuff that they've put out is actually new instead of old songs found from "the vault" and remixed.

it is considered a flop though..   snoop fans more feel it because they know his state of mind at that point.. its a depressing album.

The problem is they dont have a perfectionist like Dre getting his ass involved in everything.. even things like Dogg Food had a heavy Dre hand.. thing is.. Pac would diss Dre for wanting to make sure the product was quality.. yet.. without that control they've slacked..

The next two releases after Dre left are considered sub-standard.. Doggfather, and Makavelli... i know people are gonna say WTF..  but for real.. all this time later.. Makavellli has still not sold anywhere near what All Eyez On Me has.. and it _WAS_ slated badly when it dropped.. of course pac fans claim unfairly but most fo em were still in daipers in '96... where was i? i was sat right here.. ok, not quite.. was in a office across the hall.. biggie was huge.. he got 5 mics in the source (pac didnt) biggie went diamond (pac didnt...)

anyways back to topic...  IMO death row has numerous problems, the cause of all those i dont know...

they are effectively black balled until they put something so big out that the greedy majors cant help but get involved..

if u look at the artists who have come from there.. and list which ones have, and have not had a problem... the negatives far outweigh the positives

Yeah RR&GB went platinum.. but Daz didn't blow up..
Rages album was ok.. but she didn't blow up..   they shoulda dropped her project when Afro Puffs was big..
C2K was ok in places...
I lliked a few tracks on TGFR.. especially the above the law shit and the dresta song..

Nate's Death Row album was also good.. god knows why they pulled it from shelves..

Still I Rise kinda had a Row input.. i'm a big fan of that album.

Dysfunktional sucked.. the original version of "Still Tha Row" was the best thing related to that project.

So was Daz the last platinum plaque from the Row?

are you shittin me?  makaveli sub-standard?  sorry, disagree heavily with that.  Plus, you take into consideration that AEOM was a double disc, and double discs count as 2 sold instead of one, and since AEOM went diamond and Makaveli is around 5-6 Million, they sold roughly the same.  But sorry, I think you're flat out wrong with saying Makaveli was sub-standard.  If anything, it's one of the most complete albums ever to drop.
