It's all Cali...

thatt's why the West has fallen off
fuck seperation, let's do the Ridney King thing, u know

let's get this SOCal/Norte thing back & poppin...
Unity

I'm from southern Cali....born & raised
loved all the great's from both L.A./Tha Bay
Too $hort
N.W.A.
Ice-T ect....(Inovator's)

I still remember when it was all Cali just tryin to make it in this business.
all the beef has killed our side....ImO

Just bump what like homie...
It's all about your taste.

Hatesrats 2oo0V

Word

I grew up in Southern California and back then everyone was bumpin Too $hort along with Ice-T, NWA and shit like that. Back then New York wasn't fuckin with Cali at all so LA and Bay Area would collab with each other all the time along with the Geto Boys. All this beef is fuckin up west coast rap in a big way.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Los Angeles Lakers
Anaheim Angels

So what is your thesis of this opinion of yours? The bay can't push units, or the bay isn't as talented?

Why the bay doesn't push as much? Go do your homework on the business side of thangs, then come flappin yo mouth. These independent numbers my bay peoples puttin up is feeding their families real good. They are treated as gods out here locally and respected nationally. And that's all that matters.

That Death Row/DPG and all the affiliates of that era is still appreciated. But the dick riding is still in full effect, and that's on some bullshit. It's understandable though, most cats out here are from that generation, the DPG era type of acts is what got them into hip-hop and they still on that wheel.

I know, but that's a general statement. I'm not talking about 16 year old fans flappin off the mouth. I'm talkin bout the streets. Trust me, there's been alot of away games the bay has been involved in. At the end of the day, they will always respect it.

who cares.

Let me put it to you like this, the boys in the Bay are making more money off their albums that a platnum rapper on a major lable is. You have to move units like no one else to make the money the Bay is. Like I said, what we need in the IE is to take the Bay's hustle, that independent way of sell shit.

Remember, the Bay is full of platnum albums, they are a proven region in the United States to sell, and at any given time I will put good money down that the Bay can go platnum again. But the are on the independent hustle, and I would rather make good money independent and fuck the fame, rather than have the fame and still be bankrupt. Ask Ras Kass what a major deal does to you, it leaves you in a million dollar debt. Ask Xzibit, his shit didn't sell well, and if it wasn't for Pimp My Ride, he wouldn't be eating. I'd rather feed my family than worry about some 15 year old mid-west kid's opinion. And I can only hope the IE follows the Bays model.
