Damn, a lot of negativity considering one of the greatest artists of all time played some great songs.

I wouldn't let it get to you. This is coming from people that would rather see some God awful rapper do the Superbowl and call it amazing (rappers suck live). Not that I think it was mind blowing, but it was light years better than last year's. It's all Springsteen's fault, he keeps turning down the offer to play. :D

Not me...rappers suck live because they're all over the place trying to hype everyone up they run out of breath to rap.
Paul McCartney barely broke a sweat...just boring.

Same with me if he comes to Canada, I definetly want to go.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Good music like that is timeless.

no fuckin way I was watching that.  15 drunk guys watching football......none of us wanted to see Paul McCartney's old ass.  We just put it on mute.  It would have been better with a hot chick doin the halftime show.

I'm not hating on Paul, but like dude said above, this is 2005, Paul McCartney has no place at the superbowl.

Not that I watch the Superbowl but I caught the half time show because I heard who was doing it. Great entertainment. First song didn't live up to much, loved Get Back, Live & Let Die was good, but the obvious highlight was Hey Jude. Didn't even dumb it down for all the retards in the crowd who don't understand the importance of the na na na na's.

PS - Was the drummer short a chromosome?
Well she moved in ways
That kept her there in our minds for days
Weeks and months it was
I was that amazed and there she stays
Surrounded by the what-ifs and the maybes

A legend was performing.  No place in the superbowl?  Oh and any boyband in the past was?  An amazing show. You want to see tits n ass, jus change the channel. The superbowl is about football anyway not tits n ass.

Black Eyed Peas were terrible
been rockin' longer than niggas twice my age
back in the days before Bob Marley was rockin' a fade
before Honest Abe signed the paper that freed slaves
before Neanderthals was drawing on walls in caves
I existed, in the garden of Eden gettin' lifted
stickin' dick to Eve before she was Adam's mistress
before Christ created Christmas, I been in lyrical fitness

Well in 2002 he was the highest grossing music act among all artists.

How was Charlie Daniels? I missed him at the beginning. Once upon a time he was amazing.
