What motivates you?

Lets talk about some real stuff?

what motivates you? I ask this because a lot of us spend a lot of time on this board. What do you want to do with your life? Are you doing it? If you're just bumming, reading the boards, find something to motivate you. Just curious what people do here. I used to be on the board all day all night back when it started, but now I work, school, and design... so tell us...

i'm  a student at UCSB and i spend about half an hour a day on this board, it's got me hooked. I'm a freshman political science student. What motivates me is hope for a good future for me and my family

well, lately i had a lot of days when i couldn't even drop by and take a look at this board and i'm glad about it lol

basically, i just try to look forward to smaller things for everyday motivation, music, hanging around with friends and shit. i go out almost every evening, which is often my greatest motivation on average days. future perspectives can motivate me over a long time, not too intensely though of course. Also, i pretty much look forward to every friday & saturday evening

overall, i try to keep myself busy. soon as i'm at home alone in my room i get bored, so i often stay away from home the whole day or almost at least...cause to me there's nothing that deprives me of all motivation as rapidly and badly as being bored at home (unless i'd be seriously depressed or sumthing of course)

well it used to be weed lol but since i quit last june various things are motivating me


the gym i go every day apart from weekends this is my drive getting up going to the gym then going to work

driving ive got my test coming up just before my birthday in april

Im a very unmotivated person in general. I never work hard for anything. I try to achieve the best with the least effort, 24/7 in life. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't because I'm too late because I'm too laid back. The biggest tragedy recently was that I still don't have a new comp so I can't play WoW with my friends who are now like lvl 20 so I can't play with them later either, because I was too chilled when it came to looking for a proper PC.

I'm in a Self Employment program funded by the government.  I got a grant to start my own business.  So right now I'm in school for the next month, then I'm on my own.  I'm money motivated.

sadly money motivates me...i dont have very much of it and i would like a lot, however it doesnt motivate me to the point where i go out and do something about it loll...
