Ice Cube The Great
« on: February 18, 2005, 03:25:20 PM »
I think it's time Cube got his Props in Hip Hop.

Magazines and shit talk about Jay (overrated) Z & Nas as being legends.
Why aint Cube classed like this ?
Is it because he is doing movies or something else ?

Anyway I just think Cube should get his props and be classed like these other guys.

Ice Cube is one of the greatest, he is classified as a legend.
Nas and Jay are still putting out good music, Cube is not, he's making movies.  That's why he's not in the spotlight now.

Ice Cube is one of the greatest, he is classified as a legend.
Nas and Jay are still putting out good music, Cube is not, he's making movies.  That's why he's not in the spotlight now.
Jay-Z's first album was in 1996, Nas 1994,  -  Ice Cube 1987, N.W.A and The Posse
Big Difference In Time, He Started What They Rap About Cube Really Was The First To Break Down Street Shyt On A Record, Kool G Rap Did It  Braggadocio style, Cube Did it Introspectivelt, Listen To "Dopeman" "Gabgsta, Gangsta" he paints the pisture perfectly,
Jay-Z rapped about crack selling after Eazy, Cube, CMW, Scarface, Geto Boys, Snoop, Biggie, etc. Beat the topic to death it was his rhyming talent that seperated him, same with Nas... They are not in Cube's caliber IMO because when he was in his prime, even through 97 he didnt make soft radio shyt until "We Be Clubbin"...

Mofos talk about Nas and Jay and not Cube, cuz the level that Nas/Jay attained to warrant GOAT talk about em Cube reached 10 years ago seriously.

In the hip hop marathon race, Cube done trippled lap these motherfuckers.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Treachous Three is Kool Moe Dee group before he went solo, Ice-Cube didnt call them cowards. He called the emcee's of his era 1988 when he came out as Dre would rapped about on Express yourself, scared to kicc reality and speak profanity" that didnt start cussing on records until Ice-Cube and NWA started to. That's why Cube said " IF IT WASN'T FOR ME/ WHERE THE FUCC U BE/ RAPPIN LIKE THE TREACHOUS THREE, U FUCCIN COWARDS.
