That's fucking amazing :o

When it says 'offline' at the top... does that mean all these are OG CDs?

I'm in awe. (If I had all those CDs in my pad I'd have to chuck out most of my furniture to make room.)

I used to have them in crates and on shelves but it all got too much (got quite a small flat) - I keep 'em in those book/wallet things now and bin all the cases unless they're 'part' of the cover (like those coloured No Limit ones lol)

120,000.00 GBP  United Kingdom Pounds

=

229,350.60 USD  United States Dollars

and thats for a small two bedroom house. (arent many 1 bed's and they get snapped up fast)

i have some friends with TWO incomes cant borrow enough.. and those that have managed find it very difficult

now i know i earn a lot more than most of my friends.. but not double what they earn

1. I wasn't having a pop.

2. 120K will get you a shit terrace house in a shit area. But for first time buyers that's all you can aim for.

3. You must have saved a lot of money over the last 6 years??? Unless you've pissed it away?

Realistically if you want to get on the property market you need someone else to buy with you. Or you could look into buying a property and then renting it out.

Think a mortage is something like 3 times your salary.

1.. ok :P

2.. not here it wont. 120k will get a 2 bed semi/starter.. a terrace in a shit area (next road over from me.. is about 140/150 k.. )
a 1 bed terrace starter here is around 100k

3/4 years ago you could get a 2 bed semi/end terrace for about 80 g's.. wish i had the money i have these days back then :(

3.. do have some saved.. i also have no debts/loans etc etc

yeah mortgage is roughly 3.5 times salary...  (should really talk to opti about this.. she a snr mortgage advisor these days ;)   but hey we gonna live together one day  :D)

anyyways...   so to get 120 you need to be earning 40 g's a year...  i wish!

two people earning 20k a year? not so difficult... but more than most people i know earn..

now of course most people use a deposit.. say 20 g's.. tthat brings it down to having to borrow 100 g's..

thats 100 / 3.5 is 28 g's

so still... gotta move in with someone.. but it'd be more comfortable..
