So Mullah Nasrudin is walking out the masjid one day, when outside he see's a couple of beggars....

The first beggar asks, "Mullah Nasrudin, please, I need some money"

So Mullah Nasrudin questions the beggar...

Nasrudin-  "Do you want to live lavishly?"

Beggar-  "Yes"

Nasrudin-  "Do you like to buy things to impress others?"

Beggar- "Yes"

Nasrudin-  "Do you drink and hang out at bars and clubs?"

Beggar-  "Yes"

----- So Mullah Nasrudin drops some dollars in his cup and moves on --- till the next man stops him----

Second Beggar-  "Mullah Nasrudin, please, can you spare some money"

--- Mullah Nasrudin looks the beggar over and begins to ask him the same series of questions he asked the first beggar, the second beggar answers "No" to all of them.  Mullah Nasrudin looks him over and drops some change in his cup.

Second Beggar-  "But Mullah Nasrudin, you gave the other man more money, but I live a simple life of prayer and piety!"

---Mullah Nasrudin answered the man saying, "Then that is why I gave him dollars and gave you coins."
