i recently picked up the source with jay z on the cover to peep the westcoast special, but it was all boo boo, the whole mag still didnt show any love to the west even when they tried to... then i picked up the april issue of XXL and was like whoa! (like mya)... big eazy tribute, dj quik article, eiht article, snoop n game of cousre, and then i saw e-40, nate, ice-t etc etc etc... the whole mag ALL westcoast...

this is the best magazine issue ive seen since... since... i dont know  lol

it was a great issue. i was bout to buy it, but then i was able to find scans of the quik article. i really hope they do something like this like once a year or some shit.. i dunno, thast the least they can do for the west coast..

I support dubcnn.com and all they do but I have to agree that you need to support in all ways Justin...I understand you do the interviews and that is your way of seeing how Quik, Snoop, etc are but at the same time support man and buy the magazine or cd if you like it....I admit I will download cds but if the artist puts something into the cd and I am feeling it hell ya I am gonna buy it....If the magazine takes time to do a spotlight on the westcoast and you are fan then hell ya buy the magazine and support...That is why the eastcoast and south are blowing up because they are united which is how the West use to be.....We need to bring the westcoast back to the front of the game....Too many talented artist not getting their respect on things!!!

alright, you guys are thinking this XXL magazine is the biggest thing for the west coast or something. theyre still focusing on the same old people, not to disrespect them, but many of them of have already had their shine in hip hop.  The only new west coast artist theyre bigging up is Game, who has already gotten extensive coverage in media. he's on vibe magazine, all over MTV, everywhere. what about other artists that are making noise?
who cares if i dont buy it. I still support it though. dub is one of the only media outlets for the west so you cant say i dont support the west. the site does west coast everyday, not once a year like XXL.
elmizzy dont be so sensitive man.  i was just saying i dont feel like i need to contribute anymore financial supprot to new york based XXL when they do their ever so rare west coast interviews. i would rather use that money for my own ways of supporting the west coast like through dubcnn.
