Yeah his eagle is on most of the Arab state coat of arms.

The arms show the eagle of Sladin. Saladin was actually a Kurd, but he united much of the Arab world in the late 12th century and defended Islamic territories against the Crusaders. Yeah, Tech said it.  I don't know that much about him myself, but I hear Muslims talk about him from time to time, and they have little cartoon movies and books for kids, at the Islamic school about him.
