The thought alone gives me the shivers  I honestly wouldn't even be interested in a Dre SOLO album, he just needs the same old cats around him again (and because Busta has been around longer than the DPG, put him with that too). I seriously think the new cats could well spoil the fun of Detox. I couldn't see myself enjoying a Dre album if it has Obie, Stat Quo and Lloyd Banks all over the place. However, that's probably what Dre will do. I don't know what to think of Detox before I hear it.

Dre could make it a triple album.. one solo, one with the og's (dpg, nwa, etc.), & 1 with the new dudes (em, g-unit, obie, stat quo, busta, etc.) that would b fucking crazy.. i wouldnt care if he sold it as a 3 pack or all single like nelly did wit sweat/suit

1- Dre said a couple of times he wants Detox to be original. Well, if that's true, then to have solo Dre tracks is pointless imo: cause he doesnt even write his rhymes, so what's the point? The Watcher was tight as fuck, but Jay-Z wrote it, so it's a Jay-Z track performed and produced by Dre. Not really original.

2- Nobody really needs a CD with 50 Cent, Obie Trice, Eminem, Eve and G-Unit in it. We're talking about a possible masterpiece, not about a crappy album for MTV kids.

1.. Dre still has a lot of input in the tracks. he still comes up with the concepts and theme's and directs the writing that way. and example is that jay-z originally made the first version of still dre very 'east coast' themes.. dre got him to rework it to talk about more west coast theme's...

^Exactly, less is more in some aspects...Dre said it himself in this issue of XXL, that he wants to put like 12-13 songs on Detox and have 12-13 singles. No filler...
