the song is definitly hot, but now i wonder if he actually wrote it...Nothing on his first album was as good lyrically or flow wise. I understand rappers grow but damn thats a hell of a growth if he indeed did write the song.

Definitly written by Kanyeezy listen to his flow, hes always been this good on the content, his flow just sounds so much better over the perfect beat for him,. hes finely tuned his production for himself, he sounds so much better over this darker, faster beat.  Who said Kanye aint the GOAT >:(

He Rapped This line on big boys Breakfest With Kanye: " If your stripper's names porcha and she gets tips from many man, then her fat friend her nickname is minivan" ..... He had another beat when he rapped it though, it sounded Kinda like Gangstarrs "Who Got Guns" beat...But yea, dope song still

Song is dope, didn't think he would outdo "Jesus Walks", but this is straight heated..
He stepped his lyrics/flow up as well.

"The ROC stand taller than you would ever believe
Take your diamonds and +throw em up+ like you bulimic
Yeah, the beat cold, but the flow is ecumenic
After the breeze settles and the dust get swept off
Big K pick up where Young Hov left off
Right when magazines wrote Kanye West off
I drop my new shit, it sound like the best of
A&R's looking like, "Psssh, we messed up"

Kanye might be the next Young Hov if he keeps flowing like this..  :D 8)

$10 says Common wrote or helped him write most of this shit.. that first verse sounds like Common's style, and Common said he was 'helping' him with the album

Perhaps he got a little help on the lyrics, but no one can help you to flow. Either you can flow or you can`t, and Kanye impressed me on this one

The track is alright. That vocal sample is a bit too cheesy for me, but Kanye is on top form. I wouldn't say it sounds like a big hit as far as a first single is concerned.

Im sure he got help on the lyrics. I disagree with the either you can flow or you cant part. I know for a fact that biggie used to write Lil kims shit and spit it for her so she could flow the way he intended for it to sound, i believe big daddy kane did the same for biz markie.
