wasnt there a big thread about this and it was decided that game was saying he came out of his coma in october/november when 2001 dropped. He is not talking about the year the album came out  but the month.

I can't stop saying it: Dreams is a bad choice to be a single. It's a good song, but that's it.
Higher, Put You On The Game, etc...those would've been great singles.

they only releasing it because Kanye did the beat, i would go with put you on the game, but i think the lyrics dont help very much (they not commercialy friendly)
