In 10 years, Lil Jon will be seen as someone who brought a new sound, and sold millions of records. But in 2005, his hits don't even out number Dre's. Right now Dre has Game and 50 Cent out with singles he produced and they are on the radio more than anything Lil' Jon has out. No matter what era, what year, no one can fuck with Dre. If Dre wants to, he can put out a grip of new artist no one has ever heard of, and make them stars. He just takes his time looking for the right artist to fit his style. Lil' Jon has a gimmick, which is not bad, but in terms of long term impact, it wouldn't last. No one is calling Beats By The Pound legendary producers, but they had their 3-4 years as the top producers in the industry, and Mannie Fresh who I think is talented, is not going to be seen as great 5 years from now. Swizz Beatz, will also join that list. Lil' Jon will be there with him. The only producer right now that I think will join Eric B., Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, DJ Premier and Pete Rock is Kanye West. Honestly, it should not be who's on top, Dre or Lil' Jon, it should be who's number 2, Kanye or Lil' Jon and even then I pick Kanye.
