My favorites are

1.  A Link To the Past - snes
2  Ocarina Of Time - N64
3.  the wind Waker - gamecube
4.   Links Awakening - Gameboy
5.  The Legend Of Zelda - NES
6.  Majora's Mask - N64
7. the Adventures Of Link - NES

Haven't played the others, and even though I put the original at #5, that's only because the four games above it are near perfect.  I'd say all 5 of the ones I listed are 10's.

my lil cousin has wind waker and i played the begining of it like with the tower and eagle and i thought it was corny. does th egame pick up or what? i might play that while i wait for the new one to come out if it is really as good as you are rating it.

the wind waker was sick as fuck.  there is so much to do, i thought it was corny too in the begning, like too childish, and the cartooness doesnt help, but once you come enveloped in the story and plot, you dont care and actually like the cel shaded techniques.  if you liked ocarina, you will like this.

It's an excellent game.  Some parts near the beginning are easy, yeah, but that's mainly because they're trying to get you used to the control system, and things like that.  The other Zelda's had similar things, like Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask, where there's a learning curve.  Once you get into the game, it's really pretty complex, plus it's so free form where you roam the seas.

The Cel Shading was a nice touch, I thought.  The new game actually retains some of that, like when you beat the enemies, they explode like the cell-shaded characters did.  The cel shading added for (believe it or not) an extra touch of realism, because it made Link's face so expression-full.  If they were trying to make it realistic, they'd never be able to have him scowl, and laugh, and smile, and giggle, and look afraid, and sneaky, all that shit, which is all available since they cel-shaded it.  His eyes look towards the secrets in the room, and things like that for instance.  After a while, you kind of like the look.  The game's a masterpiece, like most Zelda's.
