 LOS ANGELES -- Just what Paris Hilton needs: more publicity.

But a media watchdog group is raising a stink over Hilton's new TV ad for burger chain Carl's Jr., in which the bathing suit-clad heiress frolics with a water hose and holds a burger.

"This commercial is basically soft-core porn," said Melissa Caldwell, research director for the Los Angeles-based Parents Television Council. "It's inappropriate for television."

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that the group plans to mobilize its more than 1 million members to protest and is considering asking the Federal Communications Commission to declare the ad indecent.

Brad Haley, marketing chief for Carl's Jr., earlier had explained the logic for choosing Hilton.

"She fascinates Carl's Jr.'s most loyal customers, `young, hungry guys,' as well as `young, hungry gals,"' Haley said.

they should stop being so fuckin prissy.. when i was about 12 i stayed in france.. they got full on topless adverts n shit on tv thoughout the day.. it aint no thing over there!

I have no problem with this commercial showing after 9pm  ;)

Personally I think it's too much for network TV and I'm not a religious wacko  :o

Exactly, I don't see anything wrong with this. It's funny how they can show graphically violent shit on TV, but can't show porn.

i just ate one of those burgers and damn that shit was bomb. still doesnt beat out the double western but that shit was tasty as fuck. and in that commercial paris looks good id fuck her and eat the burger at the same time.
