I don't think Detox will disappoint at all. 7 years in the making, his last album at that, I doubt that he'll put out anything lackluster. In the last year, year & half, he's dropped more than a few bangers. All the shit he did on "Cheers" was dope, same for the beats he gave G-Unit & D12. The production on Em's album was decent, and he killed it with Game's album, imo. 50 got some heat, as well. I just think that Dre's gonna try something new with his sound, rather than go back to old formulas.

i have no doubt that detox will be another classic. this is why dre takes so long to put out albums because he wants to make sure that his albums are done the right way. so dont doubt him.

I think Dre doesn't consider himself a West Coast producer and that Detox is not going to be a West Coast album but a Dre album.  I'm not really worried about the production because he has dropped some bangers in the last few years and more than likely saved the best for himself.  I'm worried that G-Unit or D-12 couldl be on the album.

i realy hope dre will keep it classic with guests like snoop, nate, kurupt, warren g,....and whats the situation with Daz and Dre, Daz hollerin at him all the time, was there some differences between the two?,,,i think dre should put daz as a guest on Detox

Maybe he will if Daz stops shouting when he raps, and goes back to his old smoother flow.

Even tho I dont want 50 and G-Unit all over "Detox" I think he will be....Dre knows that 50 is HUGE to the teenie boppers, TRL and all the "commercial" rap fans and he knows he can promote that and sell more records....(even tho he dont need him). If 50 is on there I hope its just 1 song and thats it........but I even doubt that..... :-\......I just doubt that Dre will do an album and not have a guy as promotable as 50........wouldnt doubt it if one of the singles off the album is a track with 50 on it...... :(
Lets just hope not!!!!

50 has been hot for 3 years, Dre has been hot for 20. dont let a "for the moment" artist make you forget whos bigger. dre doesnt need 50 AT ALL.

and i dont mind 50 bein on Detox cuz Dre would make him step his game up. were there any weak verses on "2001" or "The Chronic"?

i think dre did a amazing job with game as a exec producer.....u know with hiphop forgettin how to make a complete album games album was kinda fresh at the time, cuz it just seemed put together right, like it was a album, not jus a compilation of joints.....but as beats go, i think apart from start from sctrach and how we do.........dres beats were better with the obie and gunit album cuts......

but i think he'll have been back in his prime with watever sound he workin on during the makin of detox, so it'l be heat! i hope 50 aint on it much at all..........no gunit.....hopefully snoop will be on it, noone works better with dre than snoop, dre doesnt make better beats either unless he workin with snoop.....they bring each other some creative energy, but hopefully they'll be a new nigga on it to. i dont wanna hear hittman on it, nigga had mad rhymes but he didnt come out and his a thing of the pas, bringin him back on detox is going backwards.....plus he wont be their most likely anyway

dre better drop a serious heater with detox! no bullshit! make sure everyone who drops a verse on this drops heat to aswell as they beats! and i hope he sticks to doin "dre style hooks" not the generic hooks that be droppin these days

peace

^^Yeah, but that's not moving forward with it. I mean, it'd be nice to have the Six-Two's & the Knoc's on it, but if it's like that, we might as well call it Chronic 2001 all over again.

I don't think dre can top his other 2 solo albums, and I'm almost guaranteeing I will be disapointed with detox mainly due to guest appearances.

I really luv the way dre raps, I personally would luv it if half the album was solo songs by him, maybe just some people doing the hooks, like snoop did for Still DRE.  The other half of the album I'd like snoop to be on a majority of the songs.  a song with ice cube and ren.  kurupt, nate, and daz on a song, and thats it.
