quesion (only to be answered seriously):  if a guy has claimed to love you for over three years, but always avoids going out,or even calling does he just not like you?  he is laways sayign he doesnt want to prevent me from my potential, and so on and so forth, yet he does things to end hislife bc he cant be with me.... what should i do, what is he thinking?

The balance of having a BF, school and other things in life should rely on you.  If you can live life balancing all these things which many poeple are able to do then that shouldnt be an excuse.  Is that also the reason you guys dont go out and sometimes talk on the phone?  That it might hold you back

how old r u and your BF?  Cus that can play into why he's actin the way he is. Sometimes when people make up excuses for something (like he is with you), its because those are actually the excuses that apply to him. Like, if someone said "i dont want to hold you back"....that might actually translate into...."youre holding me back".
