Not a small part of this is that Xzibit can be a bit too much if you hear him 16 tracks long. Whereas Snoop doesn't tire me as easily while his guests did a better job overall in providing diversity on the album,despite the numerous Snoop/Kokane combos.

I really like them both though.

Restless was the better album. I never thought much of The Last Meal to begin with. I remember they dropped around the same time, and Xzibit's was better.

no doubt last meal, when i first checked both of them, i prefered restless but after bumpin it bare times, it gets played out while snoops is better as it has better replay value over a longer period of time, and thats how you know whats the better quality music really.

joints like hennessey n buddah and lay low cant be fucked with and is a better album even though its inconsistant but it has better replay value,  restless is more solid from top to bottom but its sicker joints aint touchin the like of what i mentioned befo and lacks the play over time

pretty much summed up my feelings.  I think Restless is more of a  balanced album and more consistent than Last Meal but the standouts on Last Meal do it for me.  "Hennesy n Buddah" is one of my favorite Dre/Snoop collabs and gets more play from me than "Lay Low"  I haven't listened to Restless in a bit, but Last Meal still gets spins on a more regular basis.
