Author Topic: if detox drops, it could probably sell more than eminems and 50 joints  (Read 845 times)

unless bootleggin gets even worse than it is now........and it only seems to really affect hiphop real bad....but i mean, imagine how much dre could sell

....his image as a hit maker and producer has never been wider and bigger...i mean dre always had the rep of being a great album producer, beat maker, artist developer and shit but i mean the pressure wasnt on him to the stage where it is now where he feels he cant drop a beat to someone like he dont give a fuck, everything he drops he beleives has to be dope or a hit......thats why he hardly releases anything, only on a aftermath related album do you ever see dre beats usually now.....and for that his now more known by everyone than ever...

imagine when his album drops, if it does.....

he'll have his fans, new fans, eminem fans, 50 fans, game fans aftermath/shady/gunit fans, jus hiphop cats, pretty much everyone will be coppin this record........i bet if bootleggin dont get in the way, he outsells 2001......which really would be crazy

peace.......

but yeah i know, let the album drop first but still!......

No doubt. Even though hella people are doubting its potential cuz of all his east coast acts, theyll still go out and cop it.

i kno im gonna cop it, it will sell more than encore, but thats it out of eminems albums.  and it could easily outsell 50's.  i cant wait for feb 2006 or whenever this piece comes.  i cant picture 14 year old girls coppin dre.

he better sell more than 50 or that's a joke

no doubt it will be tight, but it better be REAL tight
because most people on this site jack-off to the very thought of him releasing "Detox"

I hope Snoop and Kurupt make an appearance

I agree - will sell a lot, but it better not suck! I like Dre's new beats in the past 6 months or so. He is in a groove. Imagine if Dre kept all of his tracks for himself and had always had another artist guest on his track? ALl his tracks would blow up like Nuttin but  G Thin and California Love. Dre is the most unselfist artist there is. He has way more talent than over rated producers like Daz and P Diddy.

I can't believe that "Detox" has been talked about since the year 2001, and everyone's STILL talking about it and waiting for it to drop. Only a Dre album can have that much hype, and I believe it will definitely live up to it.

yeah, Daz is overrated and sucks at producing, I think P. Diddy might be better than him  ::)
you're such a fuckin idiot, you say Daz is overrated, if anything he is UNDERRATED
who the fuck talks about him on the mainstream? dumbass
If you think Daz isn't too good at producing than you don't know shit about hip-hop
also Daz was taught by Dr. Dre to produce G-funk tracks, you're so stupid, you don't know what you're talkin about

The majority of 50's fans and Em's fans will not buy this. I don't think they realize Dr. Dre is the reason of their favorite artists success. Even if they do, they don't care. What does a pop fan care about producers? So unless Dr. Dre goes pop, which I doubt will happen, he won't outsell 50 Cent or Eminem.

It's a possibility.....if 50 and Em are all over the album.

I swear 50 is a curse to hip hop. I don't wanna hear his ass on a Dre album.

50 is the worst thing to happen to rap since lil jon.

I'm sure 50 will be on detox.  probably on the first single, and it will get hundreds of thousands of fans to buy the album.
